Below you will find a few examples of  ornamental grasses that we use in our designs and installations. This compilation is not comprehensive, rather, it is a broad sampling meant to familiarize our clients with the diversity that  ornamental grasses encompass.

Black Flowering Sedge. 2', zone 5, DR, SH, This is a true hard to find Carex Nigra; obtained and shared with us by the Plant God of Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Fred Spicer, from a seed source in Slovenia (Europe). Thin green evergreen foliage forms a dense, soft tussock. Thrives in wet boggy sites.
